Yet more news from the travel industry – fst is proud to be sponsoring the British Travel Awards (BTA) 2011. With strong expertise in the travel industry (fst is currently working with 10 clients in this sector), it made perfect sense for our Strategy Director Craig Watson to commit to the BTA awards, in order to share our creative and marketing knowledge.

Creative Director Richard Gray has pulled together an original campaign that you will no doubt see more of throughout the coming months, culminating in the awards at Battersea Park on Wednesday 2nd November.
fst partners with Online Travel Training
fst is delighted to be partnering with Online Travel Training (OTT) to bring an extra dimension to e-learning courses in the global travel industry. The partnership is an exciting opportunity to bring the expertise of OTT and fst together.
Using fst’s experience to improve interactivity, engagement and the user journey, coupled with OTT’s travel and training knowledge, even better results will be delivered in the professional education of travel agents.
To see an example of how effective online travel training can be, visit the Avis training site, www.avistraining.co.uk created cooperatively between the two companies. This site was independently reviewed by experts in the travel industry and awarded an unusually high six ATP* (Accredited Travel Professional) points for individual participants successfully completing the course.

*ATP has been created by the UK travel industry (ABTA, The Institution of Travel and Tourism and People 1st) to recognise the skills, experience and qualifications of those who work within it. It highlights to customers excellent standards of knowledge and service that they can enjoy when they book their travel arrangements through an Accredited Travel Professional. As an important part of the programme, travel professionals need to accumulate a minimum of 20 ATP points per annum to retain their annual ATP membership.
