How do we let potential customers know about the revolutionary changes at Tenpin Kingston?

The key to effective communication is knowing your audience. Tenpin wanted to trial these innovations in their Kingston branch before rolling them out nationally, so we had to think very carefully about how to target customers in the local area. We did our homework and came up with an integrated campaign of fliers, leaflets, outdoor adverts in the area and creative point of sale. We sourced a selection of wacky footwear to advertise the “wear your own shoes” aspect of the campaign, including frog shoes and retro disco boots! We decked out our promotional teams and sent them out to spread the word. We even suggested projecting graphics on to buildings after dark, which is an idea that still might be utilised further into the campaign. We believe it is this kind of creative thinking that sets us apart.

We came up with three creative concepts to back up the strategy, which were all strong but weren’t quite right. So we organised a dedicated photoshoot to really capture Tenpin’s fantastic innovations, and the results speak for themselves.

One of the biggest challenges we faced was a tight two week turnaround to produce this full on campaign. The team came together to make it happen and delivered a fantastic campaign that Tenpin is delighted with. It is still too early to gauge any results, although there is already a significant increase in footfall at the Kingston site. For further results and developments, watch this space...
